UPCOMING PROJECTS.

Discover how we are working to improve livelihoods and foster sustainable development in local communities. We believe that conservation and community development go hand in hand.

By providing education, creating job opportunities, and supporting sustainable agricultural practices, we empower local residents to participate in and benefit from conservation efforts. Our initiatives aim to build a resilient and prosperous community that values and protects its natural heritage.

Protecting the Kori Bustard

Kori Bustard Conservation Project

The Kori Bustard Conservation Project is a cornerstone of our wildlife conservation efforts. We are committed to species-specific habitat restoration by developing and implementing plans tailored for the Kori Bustard, focusing on grasslands and savannah habitats. Our biodiversity monitoring system tracks the recovery of the Kori Bustard and other wildlife species, ensuring that conservation efforts are effective. Strengthening anti-poaching measures through increased surveillance and deploying trained anti-poaching units is crucial to protect these magnificent birds. Our goal is to ensure the Kori Bustard population thrives in a protected and sustainable environment.

Empowering Local Communities

Community Resilience

Our community resilience initiatives are designed to foster socio-economic growth and enhance the quality of life for local residents. We offer educational programs and capacity-building workshops to promote conservation awareness and skill development. Supporting microenterprises and sustainable agricultural practices helps create economic opportunities, while improving access to healthcare and upgrading local infrastructure ensures the well-being of the community. By involving local communities in our conservation efforts, we aim to create a sense of ownership and ensure the sustainability of our initiatives.

Promoting Sustainable Eco-Tourism

Eco-Tourism Development

Our eco-tourism projects promote conservation while generating income for local residents. By developing eco-friendly tourism activities and infrastructure, we attract visitors who support our conservation efforts financially. These projects highlight the natural beauty and biodiversity of the Chegutu Safari Area, fostering a greater appreciation for wildlife and the environment. The revenue generated from eco-tourism helps fund our conservation projects and provides economic benefits to the local community. Our approach ensures that conservation and development go hand in hand, creating a sustainable model for the future.
